Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Real state floreclosure
I rent an apartment with my wife and my sister, we pay to the landlord 1300 a month. 2 weeks ago we received a notice from the bank that the landlord doesn't pay to the bank since 1 September 2008... and the bank is suing the landlord because of it... I spoke to the landlord and he said that he is not paying because the property price just fell down and he wants the bank to lower his monthly payment as well as the property price for him... So my question is: should we keep paying to the landlord or should we wait for him to resolve the issue with the bank to pay him again ? is it illegal to do that? or is there any law that protect us, as tenant,in this situation..?

Re: Real state floreclosure
You still owe the LL rent. Upon foreclosure you must vacate unless the judge rules differently.
