Realtor refused to sell me
I contacted an owner about selling a home that was not listed anywhere. The owner agreed to sell it and we agreed upon a price. The owner was out of state so he got a realtor to handle the sale. His realtor kept trying to push me into using the mortgage broker he wanted, and several other things that made me uncomfortable. I got a buyers agent to help me. The listing realtor told me that if I used a buyers agent he would not sell to me (I have witnesses to this, I put him on speaker phone). I used my agent to submit the contract anyway.

The next day he put the house in MLS. He then told my agent that the owner had accepted another contract. I called the owner. The owner told me that he never got my contract, so he thought I was no longer interested. 2 weeks later the house goes back in MLS. I put in another offer, higher than the asking price. Again we are told the house is sold (it sold for the asking price). This time the owner sent me a fax saying that he did not get my second offer.

I wanted the house for an investment, same as the people that purchased it. They just sold it for $50,000 more than they paid for it. Do I have any recourse against the selling broker?
