Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

We received a foreclosure notice at our property that we lived in but in the last 6 months had rented. We also had one left at the property we live in. Due to the forclosure notice being left at our rental property the renters do not want to pay rent. Should the server been allowed to intefere with my rent receiving? I was still trying to negotiate with the Mtg. company which I finally did? So now I have a tennat and more money problems? Should the server only gave the notice to me or someone who would be in my family? Not just anyone? at the property?

If the tenant's remained in possession but didn't pay rent pursuant to their lease, you can evict them for past due rent. You have not breached their lease. They have by not paying you the rent.
