Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

We recently bought a house that backs onto an apartment complex. They have a tree which has overgrown our property and is pushing on our screened enclosure. We asked them to trim it and they said its our responsibility. From what we understand, it is theirs. Does anyone have the specific ordinances (?) for this kind of problem so we can inform them of the correct laws regarding this matter?
