Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I was recently given numbers/figures that were quoted by my realtor in order to make a decision to sell my home. I agreed on the sale based on her numbers. Now that I have the HUD statement and am getting ready to close on the house, the figures are very different and will only receive a fraction of the profit that I was led to believe I would get with this sale. I feel that she was very dishonest and did not do her due diligence in gathering and giving accurate information for me to make an educated decision. I was told by her that it was my responsibility to gather all of the numbers and information and that this is not her fault. Do I have any recourse for her actions or am I stuck in this sale of my home which will now be a loss rather than a profit?

If you have a contract executed already, which it sounds like you do, then unless the buyer was culpable, you have to close. You should have hired an attorney to review the reality of the sale with you and not relied upon the realtor. Seek some legal guidance now about your actual issues and all the paperwork will be relevant.
