Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Right of Redemption Period
Please explain the right of redemption period, after a foreclosure sale has taken place. What options are available to the original owner? I recently purchased a property at auction and I am concerned that something will happen to invalidate my purchase. For example, can the owner quit claim the property to another person, can he or she file bankruptsy during this period?

Re: Right of Redemption Period
Cannot redeem after sale is final. Equity of redemption can occur while foreclosure proceeding pending. Make sure you get a deed filed with county clerk
