Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Right of Redemption Period

Please explain the right of redemption period, after a foreclosure sale has taken place. What options are available to the original owner? I recently purchased a property at auction and I am concerned that something will happen to invalidate my purchase. For example, can the owner quit claim the property to another person, can he or she file bankruptsy during this period?
