Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
In ref to mortgage/escrow account
the property taxes were paid for this year, this months;
due to lower taxes this year, yet more was collected in escrow
which are my funds,
the mortgage co. said they auditing in Feb. 2010
and then refunding the excess in escrow;
What are my rights?
Since it is my funds being held there
when I need the funds to pay medical bills,I should have the right to get a refund check now.
Furthermore the taxes have to be reduced on the monthly payment,starting Dec. 09
I should not have to overpay until Feb. 2010,to get the monthly payment reduced(which includes the property taxes)
Thank you so much for your reply!

Without legal action, that's the way it is. Don't think that a lawyer can help get you a little refund right freaking now. Just sit on it and be pissed. If it goes into next year, give me a call.
You will just need to wait till February. The process is covered in your paperwork.
