Re-Grading of Land

Purchased home 9 months ago

3 weeks ago contacted by builder who informed me that my lot has to be re-graded due to flooding that the development is causing the neighbor behind my property I currently have no water issue but it is a major problem with development as a whole What can I do to avoid having the same flooding issue if re-grading is allowed and am I obligated to the builder to have my lot re-graded

Re: Re-Grading of Land

You don't have the right to change the course of water flow and thereby harm your neighbor; so you will need to do something. What is really necessary is another, more complicated issue.
