remove person from deed

i foolishly put my ex girlfriend on my deed as she was supposed to get a new mortgage and we were to be mrried. she never got the mortgage and we broke up 5 mos, later . she left the state and now wants 30 thou. to get off the deed.she has paid nothing towards my home and my credit is ruined

How did you "put her on the deed"? Unless you deeded it from yourself to she and you, the deed may be defective. Also, did you get consent from your current lender? You could have triggered a due on transfer clause. If the deed is legitimate, then you gave her an enforcable property intrest.

If seh will not voluntarily sign a deed, you will need a court order.
