Rental Dispute with Ex-Boyfriend

My ex boyfriend and I recently seperated and I am no longer residing at the property we were renting together (both names on the lease). He will not sign the form to take me off the lease and is choosing to pay the fee to break the lease. Do I have any legal recourse as I am no longer residing there?

You signed the lease. You are responsible for seeing that it is completed. It sounds like the best idea is to pay the fee to break the lease so that you both no longer have responsibility. What legal recourse do you want?
