Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Rental

We live in a community that our Condo Doc's state that no rentals.

Some of the people in the community wants to buy a home that is in forecloser to rent or charge a fee as a guest house. Is this legal and what should the Condo board do if anything?

Your condo board should be able to take steps to prevent this since rentals are a clear violation. The condo board should notify those in violation in writing and may also improse a fine and other methods of recourse as outlined in the condo docs. Unpaid fines can turn into liens.
