Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
renters rights
We rented a house with the knowledge of one renter behind the house in an addition, since signing the lease the landlord has returned form another state and has moved into the storage area at the back of yard, has locked us out of our storage garage, is keeping us from axcess to our belongings, has plugged into our electricty, is parking in our back yard, allows her 4 dogs to run the yard, refuses to cooperate with any of our requests etc..., What are our rights, and what can we do to remedy the situation for we do not have the money as of yet to move?

Re: renters rights
Your rights depend upon the wording of
your agreement, the provisions of Florida
Statutes and all the facts and circumstanmces./
I strongly suggest you seek the advice of
counsel. As you do not have enough money
to move, you probably do not have enough
to pay for litigation. However, based on
the information you have provided, you may
find an attorney who will take the case
on a contingency basis.
