Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I am renting a home that has now gone into foreclosure. The owner has abandoned the property, leaving a garage full of personal items, and a car. When the bank seizes control of the house now, what will become of the personal property left behind?

It appears to be abandoned property. They probably will be able to seize the items, and may be able to sale them, donate them, or throw them out. I doubt they know what is there, but will find out when you vacate the premises. If any of the items have a loan on them, like the car, then the lenders could have a priority on the item so they may be able to recover it.

Of course the bank may have you stay in the house and pay rent to them until they sort matters out. You can talk to them then and ask.
