after renting this house for ten(10) years the new owners want to evict us. Aren't we grandfathered in?

Once your written lease expires, you rental can be terminated based on prevailing law. You have no grandfathered in rights.

There is no right to stay forever. Look at your lease; once it expires, your right to be in the property does as well.
