Residential leases
If the leasee dies during the lease period, are other adult occupants living in the same house, but not lease signees liable for the remainder of the lease?

If the other adults did not sign the lease, they will probably not be held responsible for the remainder of the lease. A major landlord in South Florida used to have its leases bind the heirs of the party who entered the lease, but the Courts struck that down in a major lawsuit challanging the validity of the clause.
