How to reverse a QuitClaim Deed
We filled out the Deed, filed it and then discovered it has been done wrong. We want to ammend it or reverse it and put it back the way it was. How can we do this???

NOTE: This communication is not intended as and should not be interpreted as legal advice. Rather, it is intended solely as a general discussion of legal principles. You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. By reading the "Response" to your question or comment, you agree that the opinion expressed is not intended to, nor does it, create any attorney-client relationship, nor does it constitute legal advice to any person reviewing such information, nor will it be considered an attorney-client privileged communication. If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.
If you have the original and it was simply a typographical error, you can correct it by inserting a paragraph setting forth the nature of the error and explaining it was a scrivenor's error. If the error was greater, it will be harder to correct.
I would suggest that you consult a real estate attorney who can review the document and advise you how to correct your mistake. This may prove to be more costly than having the deed prepared in the first place.
