Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Is the sale of my house still binding?
I just wanted to know if the sale of my house still binding. I am supposed to close on the sale of house on Aug. 25th. 2004. But as we all know the there was a hurricane here in Florida. My did not receive any structure damage.Just a few braches broke on some trees around house. He would still get a great and a very strong built concrete block house that is the same as it looked when he frist seen it.Can the buyer back out of the sale even though it was pretty much a done deal?
Thanks for your help.

The contract controls, so the parties are bound by its terms and conditions. Without reviewing the contract, I cannot give you any meanignful guidance.
