Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

sale of a mobile home

We were told that we could not sell our moible home to anyone who intends to live in it full time. We have no written rules or contract with the owners of our park. We were told that this park is considered a campground by the city therefore no one can stay longer than 6 months. We have been living here for 6 years full time. We don't own the land just the mobile home.

Re: sale of a mobile home

You can sell you mobile home to just about anyone you wish as it is treated more like an automobile not like real estate.

If you have a written lease agreement with the mobile park that may present problems should the purchaser want to remain there b/c the park may have restrictions on who may live there, how long they can live there, whether the lease is assignable, etc.
