Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
We have a sales listing on a condo that is currently occupied by "snowbirds" from Canada through the rental agency for the complex. The "snowbirds" have told the rental agency that they will not allow any more realtors to show the condo until they have departed in mid March. Can they do this?

Read the lease. It should provide for reasonable notice to enter for showings.

Do you have a lease agreement? That agreement should provide the terms under which it can be shown. If no terms, than reasonable notice and time would be implied. The reality is that in order to enforce this you would have to file suit if they wont otherwise agree and that will be costly. You may want to try a sternly worded lawyer's letter and see if that helps.
