Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
I don't want to sell
I own a home with a friend, we have come to a disagreement and do not want to live together any more. We both have made mortgage payments. She just wants to sell to get money to move, I do not want to sell , due to I am in bankruptcy. I have put more principle into home and improvements than her, do I have to sell or I can offer her share of equity in home in order not to sell? Will a attorney tell her to sell?

Re: I don't want to sell
You should be represented by an attorney. If you cannot work out an arrangement either you buy her out or she buys you out. If the courts become involved they can order a sale if you cannot agree.
