Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Can't sell our house because of business partner
My husband went in partners on buying our home. My husband is the only name on the loan and the only paper work the partner is on is the title. We need to sell the house because I am pregnant. The partner will not answer any of our phone calls and refuses to sell, along with not being responsive to any messages etc. He lies and never comes through on his end of the verbal agreement. Unfortunately there is not any form of legal contract between the two of them. He is causing me and the baby a huge amount of stress. This has been an on going battle for 4 1/2 months. What are our rights? Please help!

An action in partition is your solution. Good luck.
Re: Can't sell our house because of business partner
I would suggest you follow a partition action against the partner to force the sale of property. This is a rather difficult procedure Therefore, I would suggest you send me your phone number via e-mail and a to call you and I will call you to discuss this further.
