Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Selling a house
A partner and I bought a house together. I paid the entire downpayment and any additional closing payment not covered buy the seller. Since the partnership is disolving and we plan on selling the house. Do I get what I put into the first before if and any equity is divided between us both?

Re: Selling a house
If your agreement was to be equal partners then yes you should get your investment out and then share the rest. At least that is the easiest approach to defend in court.
