Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Selling a timeshare
I have a timeshare in Florida that we are needing to sell. I need to know if I can sell it by just using a quit claim deed. I am losing a lot of money on it due to my employment situation and I cannot afford to have to pay fees to have someone else do the paperwork to sell it. What do I need to do in order to make the transaction?

Re: Selling a timeshare
There are realty companies in Florida that specialize in re-selling timeshares. You should contact one of them. They will tell you what is necessary under Florida law to transfer ownership.

If the purchaser will accept it, execute a quit claim deed.. You should disclose all that is owed on the unit.
