Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Got served foreclose papers after trying to get bank of America to help me after loosing my job, just keep getting the run around from them, they won't tell me any info and keep getting hung up on after being transferred to several different people trying when trying to get an answer, want to keep our home, I'm currently employed and have been for some time now just don't make enough to support a family and the current house payment and they refuse to take any payment but full amount..not sure what is my next step any help would be greatly appreciated

The first step is to contact a real estate attorney near you to help you respond to the foreclosure complaint within 20 days. You do not want to miss the 20 day time limit and a default can be entered against you. After filing a legal response to the complaint, then ask the court to order mediation with the bank. Unfortunately your situation occurs with many people. This is not a simple process, so I must really stress try and find legal assistance.
