Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Signature authority
My parents just traded a Mobile Home for a house! There will not be a mortgage and my parents want the deed to reflect my mother's name and my name. I live in Wisconsin they live and the house is in Florida. What is necessary to give them signature authority for me so that the documents are legal?

Re: Signature authority
You may not have to sign anything just to get them to have the deed put into your mother's and your name. If your signature is required, you would have to do a financial Power of Attorney, making your mother your "attorney-in-fact." These are unique by state, so someone in FL should draft it, perhaps the title company doing the transaction. Good luck!
