Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
We sold our condo yesterday we thought after signing all the papers. The only contingency in the contract was to get financing which the buyer was able to get. Wehn the closing papers were sent to the buyers they refused to sign. We feel that they breached the contract. Can we sue them and what can we expect to get from the suit?

You can probably sue the buyers, or at least ask to keep their deposit. It depends on the nature of the issue the buyers are raising. You should also read through your contract and determine what remedies you have in the case of a failure to close by the buyers.

Mr. Labovitz is correct. To know for sure, you need a lawyer to review the matter properly.
