Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
My son owns a property that i am also named on the lein and equity loan. He was incarserated and his wife was left in charge of the bills. His wife was later incarserated and put her sister in charge of the property which is currently being rented out. Her sister has not been paying the bills. Do i have a right to collect the rent myself? My son has told me to collect it but his wife has called and threatened to kick out the tenants if they pay me.
