Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
We have a special clause in the contract that states "sellers to provide current HOA documents to buyers"
Our closing is delayed due to some title issues.
However, seller still has not provided to us the HOA documents per the original closing date as we thought they would. Question, since the contract clause did not specifically had time in it for the clause, what is the time limit here. Is that the original closing date or is it the new closing date when we close?

I would highly recommend you get the HOA docs several days prior to closing and read thru them carefully. This is not something you want to receive for the first time at closing. To answer your question, since there is not a date specified, the answer is they must give the docs. to you in a reasonable amount of time. This could be before, during or after closing unless your sales agreement states otherwise.
