Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
squatter rights/guest
A family I met needed a place to stay so I let them stay in my mobile home that I was not using. There was no written or oral lease agreement. They do not pay rent or anything else. I was just letting them say there until they get back on there feet. They have been there about 9 months now. My son is getting married and I what to let him and his wife live in the mobile home but the family will not leave. Do they have any kind of rights? I consider them guest and thought I can make them leave anytime. Can I get the police to evict. I am paying for the electric, can I turn it off.

Let no good deed go unpunished! Unfortunately, youll have to obtain a legal eviction. You can do this with the help of the clerk of the County Court where the property is located. Do not shut off the utilities. If you are really savvy, you can approach these people an offer to pay(bribe)
their moving and other expenses...thats probably quicker than eviction...and you wont have to rebuild your property when they finally leave.
GOOOD LUCK!
