in the stae of florida can a lien be placed on your homestead and if so can it still be enforced if the person dies

No, as long as it is continuopusly your homestead, except for a mortgage, taxes, or a mechanic's lien for work done on the home. At death it still does not attach if the home passes to your heir(s).
