However,if you were married(legally in fl)to your husband you could be entilted to spousal rights if he were to die(A life estate)and if the property were sold or financed most lenders would require to sign the documents(if they are aware you are married). does he want you name on the property as a co-owner.This is important because he has been living ?paying the mortgage ? for 22yrs.
