Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Can I sue previous homeowner for not disclosing issues with my house.

In 2003 my mom and I pruchased a home in Florida. After living in the house for several months we discovered the house had severe mold and electrical problems. None of those issues were disclosed by the buyer or in the inspection report. Due to the mold my mother has to sleep with oxygen and a CPAP machine. I know the statue of limitation for a written contract is 5 years. What are my legal options?

Check to see what kind of warranties the inspection report provides - I think they disclaim anything that is not in plain sight. Also, you would have to be able to prove that the mold was present at the time of the contract and closing and that seller was aware of the problem.
