summons for partition of real property

I have recieved a summons for partition for real property based on the fact that it is alledged I have a bone Fide dispute with the plaintif- which i do nt!I paid for most of the vacant property except for a couple of thousand $.I was conned into putting the Builders name on the deed on the pretence that I would not have to pay tax.The summons was issued on 14th April.

I am not well and under the doctor having tratment,i would like to defer the hearing until i am well can you please give me some advice
