Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Tenant Disrimination

I heard recently that there is a new law in Florida which can hold property managers personally liable for discriminatory actions. If the property manager is operating as an employee of a "property management firm" , can both entities be held liable for discriminatory practices ?? Did I hear correctly ?? Can you refer me to the statute to guide me further ?

I look forward to your answer.

Re: Tenant Disrimination

I am not familiar with the statute to which you refer. However discriminatory actions are redressble. You could find the statute at your local law library. If you wish to consult with me call for an appointment 305-940-8080.
