Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

If I had a tenant with a lease from 11/1/2011 to 11/1/2012 and moved out on 11/3/2012 and never advised he was moving out and left the apartment dirty do we have to return his deposit?

If you must have it cleaned and there is damage beyond usual wear you can make a claim for the expenses. You must follow the requirements of Florida Statute 83.
