Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

tenant rights

What are my rights as a tenant in the event that my landlord has breeched contract and lost property that I reside in to the bank and has been in foreclosure 9 months before he signed a lease with me pertaining 12 months? I have only lived in the property for 2 months and now I am forced to vacate the property.

If the landlord has breached the contract, you can sue him/her. Unfortunately, if the property is in foreclosure, you may not be able to collect anything if the landlord does not have other assets.
