Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Is there any way to get out of a time share? I own the floating week outright but am tired of the maintenance fees. There are companies out there that claim they can get you out but I am leary of paying money up front when they admittedly aren't even a law firm.

You need to have a real estate attorney review your contract. To determine if this is a "recourse" agreement, meaning the timeshare can sue you for money owed, or if the timeshare can only take your interest in the property. You will have to pay someone "money up front", so you are smart to hire a law firm to protect your legal interests.
