Re: title tansfer
I would need to know if your parents estate was probated and if you were the beneficiary.(review rest answer) Your parents estate would have to be re-opened or a new estate case would have to be filed because any buyer of the propery would require a title insurance policy which would require the above referenced formality.I am working on a similar case now.I would suggest you call me my office now and if you do not get me leave a message how I can reach you.
Re: title tansfer
Usually involves a Summary Probate with a total cost of approximately $750, including filing fees, etc. However, it may be possible to do it even easier and more cheaply, but what is required depends on a number of factors, such as how they took title, whether either or both of their estates were probated, whether they left wills, whether you are the sole heir, etc. A brief phone conference would probably answer all your questions - absolutely no obligation.
