Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
I am trying to transfer ownership of burial plots back to the cemetary, who is buying them from me for several thousand dollars. But the Quit Claim Deed states "consideration of $1.00." Does this mean I am agreeing to accept $1.00? Can I legally delete this line and initial?

Traditionally deeds state minimal Consideration just like this. A bill of sale or other documents should reflect the actual money. Don’t sign unless you have the actual amount in writing.
