Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I'm considering transferring a car title to my stepdaughter

What's my &/or my wife's liability if my step daughter has at-fault accident & the car's owned by either me, my wife or my stepdaughter (in each case)?

Which is best scenario to protect my assets?

She 'd be insured with our insurer under her own policy as part of household

She's 17 (18 soon)

I didn't adopt her

She lives at home

I have title to my house (only property)

My wife isn't in house title

We don't own any real estate separately or in common

We've been married 7 years

We file as married filing jointly & stepdaughter as dependent

In case of accident, what's my personal & asset liability directly &/or through wife?

Is transferring title to wife a better option?
