trees cut down

I have had some trees cut off my land without me wanting this done the person that is responsable stated they would make it right what should I ask for in return I live in North Florida

What you describe should generally justify your getting some compensation for the loss of your trees. You could ask them to plant new trees or pay you to have it done. You can have an appraiser determine the value of your trees, but it is not easy to correctly value trees; so new young trees might be the easiest route.
