Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Vacant land

I own land in Roane County, Tennessee. I am a Florida resident and bought the property in Florida at a seminar. The developers have stopped developing due to money issues and we have two years according to our contract to cancel. Do I need to get an attorney from Tennessee or Florida? Should I get an attorney from Roane County? Is this usually a lenthy process to cancel and get your money back? What amount would we get back? The down payment, payments we made and HOA fees? Our attorney fees?

Thank you.

Re: Vacant land

Contact a Florida attorney in or near Palm Harbor to assist you. Either the Florida Bar or the St Petersburg Bar Association should be able to help you out. You need a referral to a Real Estate attorney.
