Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Voiding a quitclaim deed
I signed a quitclaim deed late last year on a verbal agreement to be compensated a certain $$, only a part was paid and now he refuses to pay me anymore, I am still on the original mortagage. I just found out he is also forging my signature on insurance claim checks. Can I have the quitclaim deed reversed and force him to sell the house , we were never married, we lived at this home 2-3 years
I also paid for more than half of contents.

Re: Voiding a quitclaim deed
Agreements regarding real propertry must be in writing to be enforceable. You may have an equitable lien for the moneys you spent.
