Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I'm waiting on a short sale deal to come through the house is vacant and i have an apt. my lease expires in a few weeks and my realtor suggested I move into the home that is vacant and I'll pay 600.00 a month until the deal comes through with the house, he also said he'll have a lease done. Is this legal or not?

Hi. If you get a lease from the current owner, that would be legal. The current owner is the only one who would have the legal authority to enter into a lease with you. On the downside, however, if the short sale doesn't come through, you will have to move again soon, when the current owner is foreclosed.
