My wife and I own a mortgage jointly. A modification was proposed and signed by the mortgagee( BUYER) my wife signed I did not. Is the mortgage modification enforceable? a new

The borrower is the mortgagor. The lender is the mortgagee. If all parties to the loan did not sign a modification, then the original mortgage and note are in effect.
