Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Last year I left my now ex-husband because the relationship was abusive. I vacated the home that we leased together, he remained. The injunction states he was to remain in the home and I was to leave. (I was able to move in with family and he had no other alternatives.) Since then he has been evicted, leaving me with an eviction under my name also. How can I go about getting this expunged?? Can I possibly get this expunged on my own? How much does an attorney charge for something like this?

You would have to try to have the eviction order modified based on the fact you previously moved out per court order. This issue should have been raised at the eviction hearing. Not easy. Good luck.

There is no such thing as expungement of a civil court order. even if you got it modified, the original order will always be of record.
