Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Two years ago I lost my job and my house will be going to foreclosure. In the interim, I met someone and plan on getting married. If the foreclosure has not been satisfied, would he be responsible for this home?

(Not sure if the area of Law is the correct one to selec)

He would not be responsible for the home unless his name is on the mortgage or the note.
