Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Florida

Does this constitute sexual harassment ...

and wrongful termination? Two years ago a manager at my place of employment pursued me at work and at my home. He came to my home unexpectedly on more than one occassion, late in the evening and early morning hours. I was pressured into having sex with him at my home and at work. I was fondled at work, touched in private areas and sex was forced upon me more than once when at work. Often he locked his office door and/or blocked my ability to leave his office. This behavior lasted two years. The employer has no human resource department to file complaints with. Although married, he did lead me to believe that 'he loved me' and more, which I assume justified his actions in his mind. I was threatened with my job via a family member of his and within weeks I was fired from my job. Prior to my being fired I witnessed him speaking to the assistant to the general manager of our organization. It was the GM who fired me, not my supervisor who was distressed over this being done to me. I never was given reason for being fired other than 'she does not fit in'. Also, at the time, I had reported this assistant falsifying payroll records, which is illegal and too, this went against company policy. This assist. disparaged me to other employees.

Re: Does this constitute sexual harassment ...

I think you should speak with an employment law attorney. There is a limited time to file a charge of discrimination and if everything you speak of happened two years ago it may be too late for legal action. If your firing took place within the last year, there still may be time. You can call me if you would like to discuss this matter. You may also want to visit the EEOC web site at www.eeoc.gov for more information on sexual harassment.
