Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Florida

sexual harrassment from supervisor

my boy friends supervisor started calling our house and asking me to meet him at a motel. we decided to get him on tape. i have him asking me to go to the hotel. and i also have me saying no. i also have him asking me to call him back at his work. i did this so everyone would know he was calling from work. and he does give the work number.

no i am not an employee of this company. but my boyfriend is. and well i took it to the company and i played the tape. they wrote him up for calling i have asked for them to get their phone recordes... because then he was calling me 10 to 15 times a day an hanging up on my answering machine.

now he is speading lies around the job site about my boyfriend and I and making the job terrible for myboyfried.the company said they would handle him and they ahve not. what can i do? why should we have to quit and get a different job because of this one person?why after talking to the police and getting a criminal case against him would they still want him to work there? why should he be able to get away with this? and this man told me if i would do things for him he would do things for me. he was refering to making the job great for my boyfriend.

Yes, what you have discribed is a form of sexual harrassment. The terms and conditions of someone's employment should not be affected because a spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend of the employee will not date the boss or because that person is a certain race or believes in a certain religion. If the negative employment actions have continued or the calls have not stopped then I suggest you speak with an employment attorney.
