Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Florida

Somebody tried to sue my brother, the company he worked for settled for $10,000. Now the individual is trying to sue my brother for an additional $10,000. Is this allowed?

Yes, it is allowed. There is no "double jeopardy", per se, in civil cases. However, the settlement agreement may have released all further claims. Depending upon the circumstances, he may want to implead the company into the case. He certainly needs a lawyer to help.
